The Grinch

 Another activity we could do was describe the Grinch. We had to write down all the adjectives we could think of to describe the Grinch you could also write descriptive writing piece about the Grinch. Here is my work.

 

Math's Poster

One of the maths activities this week was to make a maths poster. We had to choose something we are confident in doing and we had to make a poster to teach others. I chose to do mine about bar graphs because I am confident at it. Here is my maths poster.

SLJ Tent Time

 One of the activities for the Summer Learning Journey was to make a tent you could do it inside or outside me and Tom did it together and we decided to do it inside. Here is our tent.  

Pixel Art SLJ

  One of the activities for the Summer Learning Journey was to learn about pixels and then make our own pixel art.  the most interesting things I learnt about pixels are: Pixels all have just three colours in them red blue and green but only two of the colours light up to make a colour. I also learnt that there are pixels in the human eye! I made a picture of a Mati tree in some grass  with the sky and the sun behind it. Here is my work. 

Fruit Picture SLJ

 For the Summer Learning Journey we had to make or draw a picture out of fruit we also had to have three facts about Arcimboldo an artist who made paintings of people made up of fruit and veg and lots of other things. Here is mine.

Hat=Bananas Cucumber Head= Water Melon.        Eyes + Nose = Olives Mouth= Zucchini

SLJ Summer Haiku

 For the SLJ we had to createa haiku about summer.  A haiku is a poem that has five syllables then seven syllables then five syllables again.  Here is my summer haiku.

 For the summer learning journey one of the challenges was two right a song chorus a chorus is the part that keeps getting repeated mine is about my Aunty Mary who died from Cancer when I was seven. Here is my song chorus.
