SLJ Summer Haiku

 For the SLJ we had to createa haiku about summer.  A haiku is a poem that has five syllables then seven syllables then five syllables again.  Here is my summer haiku.

 For the summer learning journey one of the challenges was two right a song chorus a chorus is the part that keeps getting repeated mine is about my Aunty Mary who died from Cancer when I was seven. Here is my song chorus.

 A couple days ago Mrs Bailey put us in groups, I was in a group with Indy-May Ty, Adarsh,  Tom and Corey. Our group had to make a slideshow on New Zealand clothing here is our groups slide show.

 This Term we are learning about different cultures. This week we are looking at our home country New Zealand,today we had to make a poster with a buddy advertising NZ and drawing people in to come to our country from across the world. My buddy was Sophie A and this is our poster that we made.

Meg Explanation Writing Pet Day

 Pet day is on the first Friday of next term. Each year for pet day we make a pet day project. Here is some of my writing to go on my pet day project.

picnic milkshakes

 Today room five is going to have a picnic  Mrs Bailey put all the food in groups on the table I was in the milk shake group we had to pour half a teaspoon of milkshake mixture in a cup then add milk it was very fun. Later we will be able to eat lots of food.  we had to test our skills on reading labels and  see what food is occasional food and what food is every day.

For science this Friday we  learnt about  the water cycle we did some  experimenting and then we had to make a poster to explain to  other what the water cycle is  here is mine.

Super powers for a day

If I could have three super powers for a day.

 1. My first super power would be to be able to disappear and reappear when ever I like. I would e able to get out of situations I don't want to be in .I could also sneak around very easily.

2.My second super power would be to time travel so I could see the past and the Future. I could see whats going to happen so I can change it I would also be  able to go back in time and change things.

3. I would have fire blast super power so I could blow up the enemy
