Activity 2 for week one for the Summer Learning Journey was to say what you thought was special about your home town you also had to describe your home town. Here is my google drawing.
That is a lovely description of hometown! I've never been to Nelson Creek before but I went to Greymouth when I was around 6 years old. I don't remember too much of the trip though. I would love to visit your hometown, it sounds like such a nice and cosy place to spend time with friends and family! I live in Auckland so it would be a good idea for me to escape the busy city a bit and go camping or swimming in your hometown so thank you for suggestion. I will definitely also remember to grab some fish and chips when I'm there too, yum! What is your absolute favourite thing to do or place to visit in your hometown? It must be nice to live in a city with so much space! Auckland is always so busy and crowded.
It's great to see you using images to illustrate your blog posts. Every time that we use an image on our blog, it's really important that we tell our readers where we found it, and give credit to the owner of the picture. To properly credit a picture you will need to include a link to the site where you found the image. We have created a guide that you might find helpful. You can check it out here: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1VKjkMGwBrk2YI6Vtmg91OAQljr_T3ZSV6YZtu6MWFNM/edit You will need to follow these instructions to earn full points for any Summer Learning Journey activity that has asked you to post an image.
